Rock Chip Repair · Calgary & Area
Rock chip repair Calgary —
fixed before it becomes a crack.
A chip from the Deerfoot takes 30 minutes to fix. Left until next week, it can crack through a Chinook. $50 standard, or $99 a year covers up to 10.
Can my rock chip be repaired?
Most chips can. A chip is repairable when it's smaller than a loonie (~25mm across) and not directly in the driver's line of vision. The most common chips from Calgary road gravel — star breaks, bull's-eyes, half-moons — are all repairable.
Chips with long cracks already spreading from the impact point are harder to repair and may need full replacement. We assess on-site and give you a straight answer — we'll never push a repair that won't hold.

Why rock chip repair can't wait in Calgary.
Calgary's climate is unusually hard on windshields. Chinook winds bring rapid temperature swings — sometimes 20°C in a single day. Water gets into a chip, freezes, expands, and turns a repairable chip into a full crack overnight.
Spring gravel season on the Deerfoot, Stoney Trail, and Glenmore Trail is peak chip season. Contractors hauling material through construction zones send gravel flying year-round. Most Calgary drivers pick up 2–5 chips per year without realizing it.
A chip: $50 to fix. A crack: $400–900+ for full replacement. Fixing it today is the obvious call.
